God please protect him for me.
When his head hits the pillow, quiet his pain and help him see your glory.
In the noise and confusion, when he cant find the words to speak,
protect his peace and make words from the silence of his breath.
Keep him safe from himself when the fear overtakes him,
and when the weight of the darkness heavies his heart,
give him grace and calm the war in his soul.
Direct his steps when he feels lost... carry him if you have to!
When he feels uncertain of his path, remind him he has greatness in his veins.
As he looks in the mirror and gives a list of things he'd change, and trust me, he will; open his eyes to accept that YOU created his perfection.
Revive his heart, Lord...
And please, protect him for me.
